If this is an area which interests you, please go to the web address below and have your say - this closes on the 15th of October.

New Sustainable Events Calendar

Posted 9 years, 10 months ago    0 comments

The new Sustainable Events Calendar is a cooperative venture between four councils – Hamilton City Council, Waikato and Waipa District Councils and the Waikato Regional Council.

The website has been created as a hub for environmental events, acting as a central place for individuals, groups and organisations to inform others, and be informed, of upcoming events.

Events on this calendar site are posted by member organisations. If you have an event you would like to publish, log in and post your event. You can subscribe to get weekly updates of events.

The site is monitored so that posts are consistent with the intent of the website. If you see any posts that you think are contrary to the aim of the site, please email info@sustainableevents.org.nz.

Be sure to check it out regularly at www.sustainableevents.org.nz

Postponement of Seminar on Waikato Water - 4 October

Posted 9 years, 11 months ago    0 comments

Kia ora, greetings dear friends

The organizing committee for the Seminar on Waikato Water have decided to postpone the event. We do apologize for this change and we thank you very much for your support and interest.

Only last week we discovered that the Regional Council work on the Healthy Rivers is not able to engage in public forums on this significant programme until they complete their consultations. Early on it was anticipated we would have a speaker to enable us to prepare for involvement in Healthy Rivers.

We will resume with an event on public interest in Waikato Water in the New Year.
