Don't forget to do your garden bird survey - finishes on the 8th July. What better excuse to sit and do nothing but look out the window at the birds. Didn't see a category for Hyline chickens though.
Landcare Research, in collaboration with Forest & Bird and the Ornithological Society, established a garden bird survey to monitor the distribution and population trends of common garden birds in New Zealand. You can fill in the online form to record your bird numbers.
