Waikato Community Conservation Fund Applications 2011
The 2011 funding round of the Waikato Community Conservation Fund is now open for applications from community groups seeking support for conservation projects within the boundaries of the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation. Applications close on 3 October 2011.

New Zealander of the Year Awards 2012 are now open!
New Zealander of the Year Awards seek out and honour the incredible achievements of individuals, organisations and community groups who inspire us through their commitment, hard work and achievements and create a sense of national pride, unity and inspiration through their example as mentors and role models to the wider community.
Nominations can be made in five award categories:
The Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year
The Countdown Senior New Zealander of the Year
The Coca-Cola Amatil Young New Zealander of the Year
The Mitre 10 Community of the Year
The Kiwibank Local Heroes Awards
Nominations close Friday 14 October 2011. Judging takes place 6 December 2011.
