Sirocco Visits

This engaging parrot is currently visiting Maungatautari Ecological Island at Pukeatua for 6 weeks. He is now in his second week there.

People who have visited Sirocco are saying how they have been very impressed and have really enjoyed the experience.

Visits need to be booked ahead and already only a few spaces are available on some nights, especially the weekends.

This place is AWESOME! The volunteers @ Maungatautari are the best ever and make the entire experience well worth the price. I've been to many types of wildlife parks in the world and this one ranks as one of the top 5 - mostly due to the folks volunteering there; they are professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and make me want to come back again. Hats off to all of them! If you've not gone to visit Maungatautari and see Sirocco, you need to check it out! Awesome place with fantastic people! I plan on going at least 2 more times. Keep up the great work!
